A few weeks ago, I met Angie Lawless and Brandon Miller and learned a little bit more about a book they wrote—Climbing the Charts—that was based on a lot of interviews with Nashvillians who have been along for the ride for some of the city's extraordinary growth.
Well, having done a public affairs radio show myself for years, I know how compelling it can be to do interviews, and I think they realized they liked it enough to keep doing them, now with a focus on helping people build stronger connections to the city.
Those interviews are now a podcast, and I was delighted to be an early guest. I hope you'll give it a listen.
And in case you missed them, here are a few more things worth checking out that I really enjoyed:
- My appearance on Deep Dish Conversations with Jerome Moore, about which a friend said, "If people see this, you win."
- A profile by Nate Rau in the Tennessee Lookout that reflects on how I handled 2020, our year of rolling crisis.
- The video we put together for my re-election effort in 2019.
- A presentation I did based on a successful town hall from 2018.
What I hope you'll take away from all of these conversations is a sense of my priorities, a sense of how I think, and a feeling for how I communicate as I lead.
And I hope this will help persuade you to join the hundreds of incredible people who have chosen to invest in our campaign so far.
Thanks so much for your interest in what we're doing and how we're doing it.
My best ...
